They were met by one of our incredible photographers, Jaylee, and set out for some golden sun soaked photos.
Hylie is actually a 2021 senior, and we think getting those portraits done during your family beach vacation is the perfect idea. Especially somewhere that's sentimental, which in this case for Hylie was the beautiful Gulf Shores. We loved that she showed her school pride and even brought her cheerleading uniform!

Top Three Reasons To Book A Winter Beach Photography Session!
A while back at a local workshop hosted by Shore Shooters co-owner April Loyle, the models showed us how the winter months at the beach can give the summer months a run for their money!
The workshop was held in November and we thought it was the perfect month for several reasons.
Here are the top three reasons to book a winter beach photography session, or as us locals like to call it, “off season”.
1. Prettier Sunsets
Yes, that’s right, we think the sunsets from November - February are actually prettier because along the coast of Alabama and most of Florida’s Gulf Coast, the sunset at this time of the year is directly over the water and full of color. The sunset in the summer is lovely too, but it’s not actually over the water. So for this reason, the winter is a special time for that!
2. Less Crowded
We are willing to bet that you will have the beach all to yourself for your winter beach portraits. So not only do you have the perfect golden light, you also have free range of your location!
3. Less Expensive
Like we said earlier, it’s off season for us beach folks, so that generally means the accommodations around here are less expensive. No lines at the restaurants either!

Amber is a local real estate agent who asked us to take a few pictures of her with her two adorable kids and a few headshots for marketing her real estate business.
Shore Shooters co-owner April Loyle had a great time working with Amber and her family at the newly-renovated east end of the Gulf Shores Public Beach. They had the entire beach to themselves, so there was plenty of room to play and get some great candid shots. Plus, the sunset was BEAUTIFUL!

Family Photography In Gulf Shores
The Gulf Coast had an unwelcome visitor named "Alberto" last weekend. Subtropical storm Alberto made landfall along the Florida Panhandle on Monday. In Gulf Shores, Alabama, there were just a few scattered rain showers throughout Memorial Day. Our photographers had to work around the showers, but we were determined to make sure our clients got their beach pictures while they were here on vacation!
This family's beach photography session with Gulf Shores photographer Brittney at Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Club was originally scheduled for Memorial Day, but had to be rescheduled for Tuesday because of the weather. We're so happy they stuck around through the rain! We enjoyed meeting you and look forward to seeing you during your next Gulf Shores beach vacation!
