What is the best time of day for beach photos on the Gulf Coast?
We schedule almost all of our sessions during the “Golden Hour”—the hour immediately before sunset. This provides the soft, warm lighting that the Gulf Coast is famous for and avoids the harsh shadows and squinting caused by the midday sun.
What should my family wear for our beach portrait session?
We recommend coordinated but not perfectly “matching” outfits. Neutral tones, soft pastels, and blues complement the white sand and emerald water perfectly. Flowy fabrics like linen and cotton work best to capture the coastal breeze.
Do you travel to different beaches, or do you have a set studio?
Shore Shooters is a mobile photography team. We meet you directly at your vacation rental, condo, or a specific public beach access point. We cover over 15 locations, including Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Destin, 30A, and Hilton Head.
How long does it take to receive our edited beach photos?
