The Keane family spent their fall break vacationing along the beaches of 30A in the Florida Panhandle. The grandparents along with their 6 kids, 2 in-laws, and 2 grandkids took advantage of the cooler temperatures and less-crowded beaches of 30A by visiting in early October. Honestly, we feel that fall is the best time to visit the beaches!

We just had the most amazing experience shooting an Intimate Family sunrise session in Santa Rosa Beach on 30A. The setting was absolutely stunning and we captured some of the best family photos we could have asked for!
The best thing about shooting at sunrise on the beach is how empty it is. We were the only ones there, so we were able to maximize the golden hour lighting and capture amazing photos without any interruptions or distractions.
Our biggest challenge was to capture the essence of this family who wanted to hold onto this moment forever. The parents wanted their children to have a fun and playful time, and I had to ensure that I captured those moments on camera. We started with some casual shots, and as the family relaxed, it became easier to capture their natural dynamics.

In our opinion, fall is the best time to take a beach vacation! The temperatures are cooling down, but it’s still warm enough to get in the water. It’s also less crowded at the beaches and in the restaurants, which means you don’t have to wait to get a table at your favorite local seafood place. We at Shore Shooters Beach Photography believe “the simpler, the better”! If your colors and prints are too bright and bold, it can be distracting to the eye. Keeping your looks more towards the neutral side and the prints on the smaller side, makes you the center of attention– not your wardrobe!

We met the Humphreys family about 4 years ago when a group of our photographers got together for a team meeting in Seaside Florida.
When you get a group of photographers together, it almost always ends with a photo shoot!
