Beach portraits look best in the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset. During the summer months (June - August), we begin our sunrise sessions at around 6:00 a.m. and our sunset sessions at 6:45 or 7:00 p.m. Your confirmation will list the exact time of your session. Please let us know if you would prefer sunrise or sunset.

Where will you be staying during your vacation on the Gulf Coast?

We prefer to shoot at public beaches in order to avoid objects (beach chairs, tents, umbrellas, etc.) in the background of your pictures. However, we will come to your location if you prefer. If you choose to meet at a public beach, we'll send you directions to the location. If you are staying in Fort Morgan or a house on West Beach, we will come to your location.

Your online proof gallery will be protected by an "access code". This access code will prevent your gallery from being viewed by the general public. However, you are welcome to pass this code along to any family members or friends who may want to view your pictures. Your access code may consist of numbers, letters, or a combination of numbers and letters, and must contain at least 6 characters.

AGREEMENT OVERVIEW: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Shore Shooters Beach Photography and the client. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties.

COMMUNICATION / COOPERATION: Communication is the key to a great portrait session. Please notify your photographer of any “must-have” shots prior to your session. Shore Shooters Beach Photography is not responsible if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during photography sessions or for missed images due to details not revealed to photographer.

IMAGES and COPYRIGHTS: The photographs produced by Shore Shooters Beach Photography are protected by Federal Copyright Law and may not be reproduced in any manner without Shore Shooters Beach Photography's explicitly written permission. This permission is included with high resolution disks and digital downloads of individual images, with which the client may make prints and publish the images to blogs, websites, and social networks. Shore Shooters Beach Photography reserves the right to use images for promotion or advertising purposes in any manner and medium. The client hereby releases Shore Shooters Beach Photography and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes ill, or has an extreme emergency that prevents him or her from photographing the event, Shore Shooters Beach Photography will make every effort to provide an alternate photographer or reschedule the event. If for whatever reason this is not possible, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the package purchased. Shore Shooters Beach Photography takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs. However, in the unlikely event that photographs have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond Shore Shooters Beach Photography's control, Shore Shooters Beach Photography’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the portrait package. Shore Shooters Beach Photography will not be held liable for any injuries incurred during the photography session.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you notify us of the cancellation more than 14 days prior to your session date, your deposit, minus a $10 processing fee, will be refunded. If you notify us of the cancellation between 7 and 14 days prior to your session date, 50% of your deposit will be refunded. If you notify us of the cancellation less than 7 days prior to your session, no refund will be given. We will, however, apply your total deposit toward a future session date if a photographer is available on the requested date.
Weather-Related Cancellations: In the event of rain or thunderstorms, we will do our best to reschedule your session at another time before your vacation ends. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a refund or a "rain check" for a future session date.
Tropical Weather: In the event of a tropical storm, hurricane, and / or a mandatory evacuation of the coastal area due to tropical weather, you may choose to receive a refund of your full deposit or a "rain check" for a future session.
